Over 300,000 homes in Surrey are poorly insulated, high carbon emitters, expensive to run and at risk of damp and mould. The Warm Homes Local Grant is available to eligible households, providing up to £30,000 of free home energy improvements. Support is also available to those not eligible for a grant through Surrey’s Home Energy Improvement One-Stop Shop. Surrey County Council is running this with the support of home energy experts Furbnow and provides end-to-end impartial support including access to a qualified Retrofit Assessor for home surveys, and trusted contractors to install chosen measures.
